Summer Over? William Gomez. “Picnic” in the Cafeteria. Spanish Translation.

Dear CCC Family, This weekend marks the unofficial end to summer. That brings me mixed emotions. I like the extra daylight and slower pace of summer. But, I also like the cooler temperatures and return of a fuller church schedule that the fall brings. You can read about some of that below as the Adult Bible Fellowship topics for this fall. are listed. We are still struggling to find places for small group Bible studies during the week. If you…

Great Joy

True joy is the constant inner feeling of well being that comes from God. Listen and find out how to attain, how to maintain and how to sustain that true joy that God alone can give. “The joy of the Lord is your strength” Nehemiah 8:10

Best Sunday. Clarification. Service Change. New Staff. Oops.

Dear CCC Family, Last Sunday was very good. The best Sunday since we started meeting at the school. It is getting better each week. The congregational meeting was also very good. A lot of people stayed and we had good discussions. I want to clarify what “Grand Opening” at our new location means. We will still be meeting at Public School 96. “Grand Opening” means that we are ready to announce our presence to the community in a big way.…

Back This Sunday. Congregational Meeting.

Dear CCC Family, We enjoyed seeing our grandchildren as well as our daughter and son-in-law in Memphis while on vacation. Their “farm” has expanded and most of the food we ate in their home was grown/raised by them. We also were able to see our son, Luke, and brother, Ray, and his family as we traveled. It was a good trip. Still, we look forward to getting home on Saturday and seeing you Sunday. Jeff Retreat Cancelled It has been…

Dear CCC Family, By the time you get this Laurie and I will have left for a week of vacation.  Our son, Luke, just happens to be in Indianapolis. We will spend tonight there and have breakfast with him Saturday morning. Then it is on to Memphis to see our grandchildren. We will be back on Sunday, August 12. Thank you to Greg Stokes for speaking this coming Sunday and everyone who is doing extra in my absence.  Just because I am away…
