Easter Egg Hunt. Palm Sunday. Bad News/Good News. Usual Use of Parking Lot.

Dear CCC Family,

The Easter Egg hunt is tomorrow, Saturday, March 24. We have LOTS of children registered. We can always use extra help especially when it comes to talking with and building relationships with our guests. The event is not about chocolate Easter eggs, but building relationships that lead people to a life changing and growing relationship with Jesus. The event starts at 12:00 PM. You can show up then or come early to help set up.

This coming Sunday is Palm Sunday and I will start the Easter for Everyone Series. I will also have some bad news/good news to share on Sunday. Come hear it in person.

Cynthia Orta was baptized after the second service last Sunday! Be sure to welcome her to the CCC family.

See you Sunday!

PS We will have our usual use of the parking lot this coming Sunday.

Next Sunday is Easter Sunday!
It is a great Sunday to attend worship and to bring a friend. Because it is Easter people are more likely to say “Yes” to your invitation. Our Easter series will be “Easter For Everyone.” This  series opens the door for all people at Easter! Get some postcards on Sunday to use as you invite people to join us next Sunday, April 1.

Good Friday Service.
We will have a Good Friday Service on Friday, March 30, at 7:00 PM.

Daytime Small Group?
An evening small group doesn’t work for everyone. If you would like to attend a small group that meets during the day, use the back of your Communication Card on Sunday or email office@cccnyc.org to let us know which day and what time would be best for you.

New Series
Beginning Sunday, April 8, we will start a new message series in entitled, “Can You Relate? Building Healthy Relationships with Friends and Family.” It will be helpful to you and anyone you bring with you.

Pizza with the Pastor
If you are new, a great first step to learn more about Community Christian Church is to attend Pizza with the Pastor. You will learn more about our history, vision, and how to get connected. You’ll have an opportunity to ask questions and get to know Pastor Jeff and other church members.

The next Pizza with the Pastor will be on Sunday, April 8, after the second service. Children are welcome to attend, but childcare is not provided. Let us know you are coming by circling the “P” at the bottom of your completed Connection Card and add how many people you will bring; alternatively, you may email office@cccnyc.org or call the church office at (212) 875-8621. It will be around 90 minutes.

Associate Minister Search
Community Christian Church is looking to hire an associate minister and we have posted the position at several colleges and universities. Would you pray that God would guide us to the right person for this position? You can see the ministry description by clicking here.
