Dear CCC Family,
The Not a Fan series starts this Sunday. It is going to be a good one and life changing.
Next Friday and Saturday we will have outreach events, Movie Night and an Exercise class, in the parking lot. You can come for your enjoyment, you can come to help with the setup, and you can come to meet and develop relationships with our neighbors to lead them to a life-changing and growing relationship with Jesus. All are good reasons.
See you Sunday!
PS If you are ready to accelerate your spiritual growth, the 10:00 am Complete Christian Class might be what you are looking for. Try it this Sunday and see. You don’t have to come back if it is not what you need at this time.
Adult Bible Fellowships
Adult Bible Fellowships (ABFs) offer Bible instruction, discussion, friendship, prayer & service opportunities. The following ABFs are starting today.
10:00 am – The Complete Christian: Becoming What You Were Meant to Be. Led by Russell Kraft.
11:30 am – Not a Fan Small Group Material Led By Jon Dyke
Not a Fan Series
Whether Jesus was speaking to large crowds or small groups, he was clear to everyone what it meant to follow him. We are called to do the same thing. Jesus is not looking for fans, he is looking for followers. The Not a Fan series will powerfully communicate this challenging, but central message of the Gospel. In addition to Sunday messages there will be an Adult Bible Fellowship and small groups that will use material that reinforces and expands on the messages. The small groups that meet on Wednesday at 11:00 am, Wednesday at 7:30 pm, and Thursday at 7:00 pm at the church building will be using the Not a Fan small group material and so will the 11:30 Adult Bible Fellowship on Sunday.
Movie Night Returns – Friday, July 14
CCC is hosting movie nights in the parking lot on Friday nights this summer: July 14, July 28, and August 4. On July 14, we will feature Toy Story. It will be like an old-fashioned drive-in experience…minus the car! Chairs, popcorn, and water will be provided. The event is free and open to the public. If it rains, the movies will be shown inside. Talk to Crystal or Jeff to help.
Special Shazzy Fitness Event – Saturday, July 15
Shazzy Fitness is a Christian contemporary dance fitness program. There will be a special workout session in the parking lot on Saturday, July 15 at 10:00 am. It is open to everyone and will be led by Cheryl Salter, a certified instructor. Join us. It will be fun for everyone and will also help our church to connect with the community.
New Day Time Group
Starting Wednesday, July 12, a new small group will meet at the church building at 11:00 am. It will do the Not a Fan small group material and be led by Jeff Butler.
Name Tag Sundays
During the month of July we will be asking you to wear name tags so we can become better acquainted. To make sure you have a printed name tag ready for you next time, please fill out a Communication Card if you have never done so.
