Online Only! Morning Devotions, Midweek Prayer, and Study of Revelation start this week.

Dear CCC Family,

Happy New Year!

Just a reminder that we will be online only the next few week. We will keep our eye on the COVID-19 numbers and resume in person services as soon as it is safe.

However, two weekday events will resume this week, morning devotions and the midweek gathering for prayer and a study of Revelation. For details read below.

See you Sunday online only!

Listening to God in 2021
A new year is here! There is no better way to start it than by making a new or renewed commit to listen to God by reading the Bible. Many have found SOAPS and Bible reading plan helpful in doing that. This year we are promoting a reading plan that encourages reading 1 chapter of the New Testament Monday through Friday. Click here to learn more. The reading program start with Mark 1. Read it today or sometime this weekend.

Morning Devotions resume Monday, January 4
The morning devotions will resume this Monday on Facebook Live with some changes. The time together has been great, but listening to the devotion might keep some from reading the Bible for themselves. Every disciple of Jesus need to feed themselves from God’s word. To encourage personal Bible reading, a time for personal Bible reading will start at 7:15am on Facebook with a repeating video about the SOAPS Bible reading method. The actual devotion will start at 7:30am and focus on the previous day’s Bible chapter. See you Monday as we talk about Mark 1.

A study of the Book of Revelation starts this week.
The midweek prayer time on Thursdays will resume on January 7 at 7:30pm and include a detailed Bible study of The Book of Revelation. Why Revelation? Because of these word written at the start of the book:

Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near. (Revelation 1:3)

Revelation is a complex book, but it is far more understandable than we have been led to believe. The study will be on Zoom. Click here for the link or go the church website, to find it.

They don’t have to leave home and they can wear their pajamas. Go here on Facebook. Then, share the post on your timeline or send it to a friend. You can also send the link,, to your friends.
