Prayers Answered! Dedication Sunday and Offering.

Prayers Answered! Dedication Sunday and Offering.

Dear CCC Family,

On Tuesday afternoon, I received word that our updated building plans were approve by the Department of Buildings. Our prayers were answered. Praise God! Another big step toward completing the renovation has been made. Pray that progress continues.

I always enjoy our Annual Congregational Meeting. Last Sunday’s was no exception. We affirmed Jon Dyke and Russell Kraft as elders and had a good discussion about the future of our church especially our building at 210 East 117th Street. Although a final decision has not been made, there was a strong sentiment that we should meet there and have two services. Keep it prayer. Ask God to guide us in the decision and timing.

See you Sunday!

PS We will dedicate 210 to God’s glory and service on Sunday, March 22. Please read about it below.

Building Dedication – March 22
We will formally dedicate our building at 210 East 117th Street on Sunday, March 22, the 29th anniversary our church’s first Sunday service. The dedication will take place in the afternoon shortly after our regular service. The regular service will be a PS 96 and the dedication will be at 210 East 117th Street. We will be receiving a special Dedication Offering that will go toward the cost of the renovation. If you made a pledge during our Daring Faith Campaign and got behind, this would be a great way to catch up. If you have become part of our church family more recently, you can be part of the campaign to renovate the building by giving. Former and current members are always welcome to give in honor and memory of their time with CCC.

Boundaries: When to Say Yes, How to Say No To Take Control of Your Life. Does your life feel like it’s out of control? Perhaps you feel you have to say yes to everyone’s requests, especially if you are a Christian. Maybe you find yourself readily taking responsibility for others’ feelings and problems. Or perhaps you focus so much on being loving and unselfish that you’ve forgotten your own limits and limitations. Or maybe it’s all of the above. This study will help you learn when to say yes and know how to say no in order to take control of your life and set healthy, biblical boundaries with your spouse, children, friends, parents, co-workers, and even yourself. Led by Russell Kraft.
