Jesus Wants a Multiethnic Bride
The Multiethnic Church: It was modeled in Acts
The multiethnic church was modeled by the church in Jerusalem and Antioch. They scattered and shared their faith with all people.
The Multiethnic Church: God Prayed for It
When Jesus taught us to pray “on earth as it is in heaven” in Matthew 6:9-10, he prayed for diversity. He also prayed for unity of all people, that we would be “one” in John 17:21-23. When we come together as one, others will see God glorified through our unity despite differences.
The multiethnic church: God planned for it
The church is the bride of Christ and God wants her to be multiethnic. God created diversity from the beginning. He redeemed diversity through His plan of salvation. He also displays diversity in heaven. It is important that we embrace our identity as a multiethnic church and embrace our differences.
