Dear CCC Family,
The Case for Christ is a great movie to see in preparation for Easter. It is the story of a skeptic who not only comes to believe in the resurrection of Jesus, but who commits his life to Christ, to learning how to follow and live like Jesus. Invite someone to see it with you. You may not be able to get them to join you for our Sunday gathering. However, a movie might be different. It is free, but there will be “tickets” you can hand out to give people the details.
See you Sunday!
PS We could use your help with a craft. We need eggs trays, the ones that hold 12 eggs. No eggs, just empty trays. Please bring any that you have as soon as possible. Thanks!
We will have a service in French at 2:00 pm starting Sunday, April 14. This is in addition to our regular English service at 11 AM. Salomon, Caroline, and a core group of French speakers they have gathered will take the lead. However, there will be ways for you to help even if you don’t speak French. If you would be willing to stay late to help once every 4-6 weeks, circle the “F” at the bottom of your completed Communication Card on Sunday or email firstname.lastname@example.org.

“The Case for Christ” Movie – Saturday, April 13
In 1980, Lee Strobel’s award-winning investigative reporting earned him a promotion to legal editor at the Chicago Tribune. Things at home weren’t going nearly as well. His wife Leslie’s newfound faith in Christ compelled. Lee to utilize his journalistic and legal training to disprove the claims of Christianity—pitting his resolute atheism against her growing faith. Based on Strobel’s best-selling book of the same name, THE CASE FOR CHRIST movie is a dramatic and heartfelt telling of their compelling journey. CCC will show the movie on Saturday, April 13, 5:00 pm at Public School 96 where we meet for worship. Invite people to attend with you. It is free. You can watch the trailer by clicking here.
