The Last Sunday. Picnic. Up Coming Messages.

The Last Sunday. Picnic. Up Coming Messages.

Dear CCC Family,

This is the last Sunday we will meet at 9:30am and 11:15am. We will have slightly different times starting next week. John will conclude the series on Real Love this Sunday. It has been a great series and you can watch any service you missed on our church’s website www.cccnyc.org or on our YouTube page. Please click here to go to our YouTube and subscribe. It will help us if you do.

Starting Sunday, September 20, not this Sunday, the times will be 10:00am and 11:30am. Here are the upcoming message topics:

September 20 – The Only Two Ways to Live
A talk about the choice everyone must make when it comes to how they live, God’s way or my way. A simply but clear presentation about what being a Christian is all about. Invite your friends to watch.

September 27 – Why bother with baptism?
Sometimes people wonder what baptism is all about. They wonder why they should bother with it when they already believe. This message will look at what the Bible says about baptism and where it fits in our relationship with God.

October 6 – New Series. Emotions – Get the good feelings.
Although Christians sometimes talk like emotions are bad, the truth is that they are part of the way God made us. God has emotions and we are made in the image of God, so we have emotions too. The challenge is to understand our emotions so we have good (moral, God honoring) feelings, not bad (immoral, self-centered) feelings. Join us as we learn how to get the good feelings.

Reserve Your Seat
We are now taking reservations for the the 9:30am and 11:15am services for Sunday, September 13. Click here to reserve your seat or go to cccnyc.org/register. Once again the 11:15 service is around 3/4 full as of now and there are plenty of seats at 9:30.

See you soon in-person or online.

Jeff

PS Laurie and I are away this weekend. We will be back and I will be speaking next Sunday, September 20.

Wear a mask. Bring a blanket/chairs for you and those you live with. We will meet in the northeast section of Central Park, near the entrance at 5th Ave and 110th Street. Please sign up for the picnic by clicking here. We look forward to seeing you!
